Housing market pressure in Christrchurch has seen the rise of many new subdivisions in the city and surrounding area. The Cashmere Road subdivsion posed several challenges. A combination of sloping and flat ground meant that both liquefaction and rockfall hazards had to be accounted for. KGA assess the site against the Resource Management Act (RMA) requirements and provided a Statement of Professional Opinion (SOPO) in support of a Subdivision Consent application.
