Detailed investigation and design was required of this 26 Lot, rural residential subdivision, constructed in areas of known land instability. Our input started with the preliminary geotechnical investigation for the proposed subdivision and ended with construction observations during site formation works and certification.
The construction measures included deep and shallow drainage, ground recontouring, shear keys and toe buttressing. The site formation work was carried out in three stages of development, including a substantial access road constructed in part on light weight polystyrene fill.
